About Christa
Christa is a "Wholesome Midwestern Girl", living in Chicago. Raised in Indiana, she graduated with a BA in theatre from Indiana University and proudly works as an actor and producer in Chicago. From 2006 to 2024, she swapped the Chicago Bears for black bears, moving to the Catskill Mountains of New York, where she became an ensemble member of Voice Theatre, taking on principal roles in productions including The Skin of Our Teeth, Our Country's Good, Hay Fever, and Season's Greetings.
During her time in New York, Christa produced two films with Cinetrope Entertainment: the documentary Land of Little Rivers, exploring the lifestyle, history, and passion of fly fishing, and an award-winning short noir film, Rooster & The Queen, in which she served as both producer and actor.
Christa navigates between performing and producing. With over 25 years of experience in corporate communications, theatrical production, and independent film, she has taken on various roles including Producer, Tour Manager, Production Coordinator, Video Producer, Back Stage Manager, Graphics & Speech Coordinator, and Talent Wrangler. In a pinch, she has also provided craft services and costumed a show. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to global organizations and associations. She is a Telly and APEX award recipient.
